On behalf of the TMST Board Members, we would like to thank you for an amazing 2026 swim season! We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this season such a success.

A special thank you to all of our coaches who taught, encouraged, and supported our swimmers throughout the season. We also want to thank all of the families who volunteered their time to help our meets run smoothly. We truly could not do what we do without all of your support!

End-of-Season Gifts, Ribbons & Awards

End-of-season gifts are ready for pickup starting this Thursday, 9/10/2026 at the following places:

Last Names -Starting with A-L:

210 N Garber Dr, Tipp City

Last Names -Starting with M-Z

412 S. Tippecanoe Dr, Tipp City

They will be in tubs on the front porch.  Please stop by when you have a chance to pick up your swimmer's end-of-season gift, ribbons, awards, and certificates.

Board Member Updates

We would also like to recognize and thank several of our board members for their many years of service to TMST.

Christine Bathgate has served on the board since 2018 and took over as President beginning with the 2020 season.  Christine will be transitioning from her current role and will serve as Meet Director for our home meets during the 2027 season.

Lauren Vore has served on the board since 2019 and has been our Volunteer Coordinator and marketing genius! She will be serving in an advisory role during the 2027 season as she prepares to send her daughter off to college next year.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and dedication both of them have given to our team for many years!

Jayme Everhart, our current Treasurer since 2022, and Jamie DeSantis, who joined the board this year, will serve as Co-Presidents for the 2027 season.

Interested in Becoming a Board Member?

We need your help! We are looking for at least three people who are interested in joining the TMST Board for the 2027 season.  We are looking to fill these positions immediately so we can hit the ground running in February as we prepare for the new season.

Open positions include:

• Treasurer – Responsible for team finances, sponsorships, and required reporting.
• Volunteer Coordinator – Helps coordinate volunteers for home and away meets and leads meetings prior to home meets.
• Marketing/Communications Coordinator – Helps coordinate spirit wear, order banners, and manage social media posts.

Want to Help but Can't Join the Board?

We are always looking for families who can help with setting up before practice and putting everything away afterward. Even small amounts of help make a big difference!

Do you have swim experience and/or an interest in joining our coaching staff? Please reach out! We would love to talk with you about opportunities to join the coaching staff.

Winter Swim Season Is Starting Soon!

Does your swimmer want to continue swimming through the winter? Winter swim season is starting soon and is a great way to stay in the water, continue building skills, and keep improving throughout the off-season.

Registration is currently open for several area swim teams. Many TMST swimmers have participated in the following programs:

• Miami County Marlins (MCY Marlins) – Operated through the Miami County YMCA.
• Huber Heights Hurricanes – Operated out of the Huber Heights YMCA.
• Springfield Family YMCA Swim Team (SPY) – Operated out of the Springfield YMCA.
• Kleptz Family YMCA Swim Team – Operated out of the Kleptz YMCA in Englewood.

Each team has additional information available through its respective YMCA website (links above).

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are also a great way for swimmers to stay in the water and continue improving their strokes and skills. The YMCAs listed above, along with the Vandalia Recreation Center, offer swim lessons and clinics throughout the year.

Looking Ahead to the 2027 Summer Season

Planning for the 2027 summer swim season will begin in February 2027. Be on the lookout for information regarding meet dates, registration, and other important details.
