TMST Families - Information for week of May 10

Practices: Tuesday, May 12 and Thursday, May 14 at TROY YMCA (Robinson Branch Miami County YMCA 3060 S Co Rd 25A, Troy, OH 45373). 10&Under 5:00-6:00 11&Older 6:00-7:00.

Practice items & info: Please bring swimsuit, towel, goggles and swim cap. Kickboards will be provided. Please have hair in a swim cap or pulled back in a ponytail to keep hair out of eyes. Please provide swim goggles, and not swim masks that cover the nose. Head, hair, face all need to be submerged for swim team.

Tuesday, May 12:

• Team suit try-on. Poco Loco will be in the Rec Room next to the field house starting at 5:00 to purchase the new swim team suit. We are changing designs this year; but if last years suit is still in good shape swimmers may continue to wear that one. Families are not required to purchase the team suit; we just ask that swimmers have a competitive suit. Please be patient; lines typically are long during suit try on; you may drop in any time between 5 & 7. If you are unable to attend there is an online options to purchase from Poco Loco Swim Gear (password swimfast) and/or SwimOutlet. PocoLoco also has a store in Piqua! (325 N Main St, Piqua, OH 45356 937-606-2499. Swim caps will also be available to purchase from the team (sold separately).
• Parent Meeting: Will also be held at 5:15 & 6:15. You do not need to attend both, the information provided will be the same. This will be your opportunity to ask questions to the board members about the upcoming season and verify the volunteer positions you signed up for at registration.

YMCA Info: If you are a member of the YMCA, scan your membership card at the Y Front Desk upon arrival. Non-YMCA Members: Visit the Front Desk and there will be a clipboard on the counter where you will sign in (or sign your child in). There is no additional fee for non-YMCA members to participate in indoor practices. There is limited seating available in the pool area. YMCA locker rooms are available to be used.
