TMST Families - Information for week of May 25

Practices: Tuesday, May 27; Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29 Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center (225 Parkwood Ave, Tipp City). 10 & under 7:00 - 8:00 11 & up 8:00 - 9:00. Pool is closed to the public at 7:00.

Weather: Yes, the forecast this week is not ideal for summer swimming. We had a paid contract at the YMCA for four weeks that has expired so we are unable to utilize the YMCA. We will be doing some exercises/drills on land so please do not have the kids wet prior to practice. We will be using the Remind messaging system for any cancellations/updates to practices.

Remind Messaging: Remind has changed some of their settings - they no longer send out text messages. If you do not have the app downloaded, you will receive an email. Please verify your settings to ensure you are receiving last minute updates. Etiquette & Tips: Kids need to be wearing goggles at practice. Faces need to be put in the water in swim team and the goggles allow swimmers to keep eyes open. Please work with your swimmer(s) to make sure the goggle straps are sized correctly and put on the correct direction. Long hair needs to be in a ponytail and out of the swimmers faces; a swim cap is preferred. Board members are selling TMST caps at all practices.

RSVP & Volunteering: Please continue to RSVP and Volunteer for meets! There are 170 swimmers (93 families) and that is a lot of unnecessary time spent if board members have to track you down. We understand that summers are busy with vacations, family events, other activities, so please RSVP NO if you are unable to attend.
