23rd Annual Invitational

(rain date Sunday June 25, 2023)

The Darke County Stingrays Swim Team is excited for this year’s annual swimming invitational. We are located at the Greenville City Swimming pool. Our invitational welcomes all levels of swimmers, from the competitive winter swimmer to the recreational and novice swimmers. Our invitational brings swimmers together from surrounding communities for a competitive, yet fun day! It is our hope that all swimmers will leave this invitational with at least a ribbon for their efforts. We hope that you will be attending and look forward to seeing you for a great day of swimming!!

PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional fee for this meet based on the number of events and/or relays your swimmer(s) participate in of $5.00 per individual and $0.00 per relay (split between the 4 relay participants). Fees will be charged to the family and you will be required to pay TMST to be eligible to participate. Thank you for your understanding.

PACE: Greenville City Swimming Pool

STARTING TIME: 9:00 am (meet begins)

WARM-UP TIMES: TBD (could be as early as 7:30 am)

ENDING TIME: Between 2:00 - 3:00 PM

ENTRY FEES: Individual Events - $5.00; Relays - $20.00

SWIMMERS AWARDS:

All first place winners will receive Medals
Double Ribbons for Second through Sixth Place
All heat winners ages 8&U through 11-12 will be given recognition
Assisted swimmers will receive double ribbons
High point trophies for individual swimmers in each age group

TEAM AWARDS: A trophy will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams.

RULES:

• There may be mixed relays swimming in the boy’s event. At least 2 boys have to be on that relay.
• Swimmers may enter 4 individual and 2 relay events.
• Swimmers must compete in their age groups, except to fill relays in which case they may move up any number of age groups to complete that relay team.
• One (1) false start allowed.

MEET WORKERS: Please provide three (3) timers for the duration of the meet.
